Our expectations from you:
- To be enthusiastic about operational efficiency and driven by results;
- To carry out optimization and cost-cutting projects for our manufacturing clients;
- To analyze and optimize space. To design factories and warehouse layouts;
- To conduct feasibility studies, including a budget assessment, to determine the merits of prospective projects;
- To map business and manufacturing processes;
- To observe all stages of the manufacturing process and identify areas for improvement;
- To participate in time study projects, conduct analyses and define prescribed methods;
- To work closely with our customers’ production personnel and managers in order to implement improvements;
- To adhere to and put into practice Progima’s project management and execution methods.
Requirements:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to deliver high performance in a fast and fluid environment;
- Have an ease of approach and communication, and the ability to express ideas with persuasion;
- Constant initiative in the performance of tasks and responsibilities;
- Strong knowledge of Autocad 2D and Microsoft Office software;
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability;
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Engineering; or any other related training or relevant experience;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- PEO or P.Eng (from other Canadian provinces) designation

- Certification/training: green or black belt
